Santa María Chachoapam
Municipality and town in Oaxaca, Mexico
17°33′N 97°18′W / 17.550°N 97.300°W / 17.550; -97.300Santa María Chachoapam is a town and municipality in Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. The municipality covers an area of km². It is part of the Nochixtlán District in the southeast of the Mixteca Region.
As of 2005, the municipality had a total population of 19,223.[1]
