Reynaldo Bendijo Bersabal[1] (born October 15, 1964) is a Filipino prelate of the Catholic Church who serves as the auxiliary bishop for the Diocese of Sacramento.

Biography

The youngest of three children, Bersabal grew up in a small town in Mindanao, Philippines. He entered the diocesan seminary of San Jose de Mindanao where he obtained a degree in philosophy from Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan. On April 29, 1991, Bersabal was ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro.

Episcopal career

Pope Francis appointed Bersabal auxiliary bishop for the Diocese of Sacramento on April 20, 2024.[3][4][5] On May 31, 2024, Bersabal was consecrated as a bishop.
