Lasgerd Rural District (Persian: دهستان لاسگرد) is in the Central District of Sorkheh County, Semnan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Lasjerd.[4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the former Sorkheh District of Semnan County) was 2,135 in 693 households.[5] There were 2,157 inhabitants in 719 households at the following census of 2011.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 1,973 in 740 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Sorkheh County. The rural district was transferred to the new Central District.[3] The most populous of its 119 villages was Lasjerd, with 1,024 people.[2]
