Kelardasht-e Gharbi Rural District (Persian: دهستان کلاردشت غربی)[3] is in the Central District of Kelardasht County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Vahed.[4]
History
After the 2006 National Census, Kelardasht-e Gharbi Rural District was created in Kelardasht District of Chalus County. Birun Bashm and Kuhestan Rural Districts, and the city of Marzanabad, were separated from the district in the formation of Marzanabad District.[4]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2011 census, the rural district's population was 5,145 inhabitants in 1,603 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 6,501 in 2,220 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Kelardasht County. The rural district was transferred to the new Central District.[6] The most populous of its 18 villages was Pishanbur, with 1,849 people.[2]
