爱尔兰在2024年6月7日举行2024年欧洲议会选举，与爱尔兰地方选举（英语：2024 Irish local elections）和利默里克市长选举（英语：2024 Limerick mayoral election）同一天举行。[1] 歐洲議會議員將在7月17日上任。這會使得愛爾蘭眾議院與愛爾蘭參議院分別出現4席與2席空缺。[2]
選舉制度
愛爾蘭有14席歐洲議會議員席次，選舉採可轉移單票制比例代表制。全國分為三個選區：
- 都柏林（英语：Dublin (European Parliament constituency)）（4席）
- 米德蘭—西北（英语：Midlands–North-West (European Parliament constituency)）（5席）
- 南部（英语：South (European Parliament constituency)）（5席）
2019年，愛爾蘭選出13名歐洲議會議員。2023年，在根據最新人口數據對議會組成進行選前評估後，愛爾蘭增加一席。[3][4][5] 選舉委員會建議將此席位分配給米德蘭—西北選區，並劃入原屬南部選區的萊伊什郡和奧法利郡。[6][7] 此項變動依據《2023 年選舉（修正）法》實行。
居住在該國的愛爾蘭公民和其他非愛爾蘭歐盟公民有權在愛爾蘭的歐洲選舉中投票，但須登記並撰寫其居住地當局發布的法定聲明。居住在國外的愛爾蘭公民不能投票。此外，最晚必須在選舉日年滿18歲才可投票。[8]
