Bistorta là một chi thực vật có hoa thuộc họ Polygonaceae. Tính đến tháng 2 năm 2019[cập nhật] có 42 loài được công nhận. Chi này đã được tách ra riêng biệt bởi phát sinh chủng loại phân tử.[2] Các loài thuộc chi Bistorta là các loài bản địa khắp Bắc bán cầu, xa về phía nam như Mexico ở Bắc Mỹ và Thái Lan ở châu Á.[1]
