The Honorary Consul (sh. Počasni konzul) je roman britanskog književnika Grahama Greenea objavljen 1973. godine. Radnja se događa u Corrientesu, argentinskoj provinciji na granici sa Paragvajem gdje živi protagonist, dr. Eduardo Plarr, ljekar anglo-argentinskog porijekla koji se sprijatelji sa Charlesom Fortnumom, britanskim počasnim konzulom, ali također ulazi u nevolje kada njegovi radikalno lijevi prijatelji odluče pokušati ishoditi puštanje političkih zatvorenika otmicom američkog ambasadora, ali umjesto toga greškom otmu Fortnuma. Greene je tvrdio da mu je The Honorary Consul najdraži od svih romana.

Godine 1983. je snimljen istoimeni igrani film u režiji Johna Mackenzieja sa Richardom Gereom u glavnoj ulozi.
