Karboksipeptidaza A (EC 3.4.17.1, karboksipolipeptidaza, pankreasna karboksipeptidaza A, tkivna karboksipeptidaza A) je enzim.[1][2][3][4] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- Odvajanje C-terminalnih aminokiselina. U maloj meri deluje ili ne deluje na -Asp, -Glu, -Arg, -Lys ili -Pro
Ovaj cinkov enzim se formira iz prokarboksipeptidaze A.
