ステファン・フレンド

ステファン・フレンド（英語: Stephen H. Friend、M.D. Ph.D.）とはセージ・バイオネットワークスの理事長、共同創設者、取締役である^[1]^[2]^[3]。

かつてメルク・アンド・カンパニーの上席副社長を務め、1996年にリーランド・ハートウェルやリロイ・フッドと共にロゼッタ・インファーマティクスを設立した^[4]。自身の研究の多くは癌に関するものである^[1]。

ハーバード大学医学大学院やマサチューセッツ総合病院にて教員を歴任した。また哲学の文学士と生化学のPh.D.とM.D.をインディアナ大学で取得している^[2]。アショカ財団のアショカ・フェローにも名を連ねている^[5]。
