Kronik Zuqnin

Kronik Zuqnin adalah kronik medieval yang ditulis dalam bahasa Suriah Klasik, melibatkan peristiwa-peristiwa dari penciptaan hingga sekitar 775 M. Kronik ini kemungkinan besar dihasilkan di Biara Zuqnin dekat Amida (kini kota Diyarbakır di Turki) di sepanjang Sungai Tigris. Karya ini diselamatkan dalam sebuah manuskrip tulisan tangan tunggal (Cod. Vat. 162), yang sekarang berada di Vatikan (dengan tanda rak Vatikan Suriah 162). Bagian keempat dari kronik ini memberikan gambaran rinci tentang kehidupan komunitas Kristen di Timur Tengah, termasuk wilayah Suriah, Mesopotamia, Palestina, dan Mesir, selama dan setelah penaklukan Muslim.
