The Waste Lands on brittiläisen metalliyhtye Venomin kahdeksas studioalbumi, joka julkaistiin vuonna 1992. Albumi sai innottomia arvosteluja,[1] ja pian sen julkaisun jälkeen yhtye hajosi.[1][2]

Basisti-laulaja Tony ”Demolition Man” Dolanin mukaan yhtye oli The Waste Landsin aikoihin jo lopettamassa toimintaansa ja albumi tehtiin rutiinilla. Hän oli tyytymätön myös tuotantoon ja koki hyvää kappalemateriaalia menneen suotta hukkaan heikon tuotannon ja yhtyeen innottomuuden vuoksi. The Waste Lands oli viimeinen kolmesta albumista, jotka Venom teki Dolanin kanssa.[1] Tuolloinen ydinkokoonpano Tony Dolan (laulu ja basso), Jeff ”Mantas” Dunn (kitara) ja Tony ”Abaddon” Bray teki kuitenkin paluun nimellä Venom Inc. vuonna 2015.[3] Kokoonpano julkaisi vuonna 2017 studioalbumin Avé.[4]
