”Riders on the Storm” on The Doors -yhtyeen kuuluisimpia kappaleita, joka julkaistiin vuonna 1971 albumilla L.A. Woman. Se julkaistiin myös singlenä samana vuonna, tosin lyhennettynä versiona. Single nousi Yhdysvalloissa sijalle 14. Se oli myös yhtyeen olemassaolon aikana kolmas ja viimeinen single, joka pääsi Britannian listalle. Kappale on noussut saarivaltakunnan singlelistalle kaikkiaan kolmesti; vuosina 1971 (22.), 1976 (33.) ja 1991 (68.)[3] Kappale saavutti merkittävää suosiota myös Alankomaissa, missä se nousi sijalle 7.[1]

Kappale alkaa sateen äänellä, johon tulevat pian mukaan rummut, bassokuvio ja jazz-vaikutteiset koskettimet. Viimeisenä tulee mukaan Jim Morrisonin kolkko, rauhallinen ja kaikuva lauluääni. Kappaleen singleversio kestää huomattavasti vähemmän kuin albumiversio, noin neljä ja puoli minuuttia.[1]
