Motörhead oli brittiläinen hard rock -yhtye, jonka perusti Lemmy Kilmister (laulu, basso). Yhtye aloitti uransa bluesvaikutteisella rockilla, mutta lisäsi pian tyyliinsä punkrockin nopeutta ja rujoutta.^[1] Motörhead oli musiikillisesti 1970-luvun lopun raskaimpia yhtyeitä, ja se vaikutti suuresti muun muassa thrash metalin syntyyn. Motörheadin albumeita on myyty maailmanlaajuisesti yli 15 miljoonaa.^[2] Yhtye lopetti toimintansa vuonna 2015 sen jälkeen, kun Lemmy Kilmister kuoli joulukuussa syöpään.
