John Martin (Haydon Bridge, Northumberland, 1789ko uztailaren 19aDouglas, Man, 1854ko otsailaren 17a) ingeles margolari, grabatzaile eta ilustratzailea izan zen.

Margolarirza heraldikoa ikasten hasi zen karroza egile batekin eta gero portzelanazko margolari italiar batekin. 1806an Londresera iritsi eta hemeretzi urterekin ezkondu zen, eta margolaritza eskolak emanez eta akuarelak eta kristal eta portzelana gainean margotuz atera zuen bizimodua. 1811n, Royal Academyn erakustea lortu zuen, batez ere Itun Zaharrean inspiratutako obra bibliko handiak. John Miltonen lanetan ere inspiratu zen. 5000 lagunek ordaindu zuten "Baltazarreko festatxoa" ikusteko. Bere margolanetako batzuk argia erabiliz animatzen ziren diorama bezala erabili ziren. Bere lanetan irudi ñimiñoak agertzen dira fantasiazko konposizioetan, gero grabatuak egiteko oinarri gisa erabili zirenak.
