Rakovets (Ukrainian: Раковець) is a village in Zolotnyky rural hromada, Ternopil Raion, Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine.[1]

History

The first written mention of the village was in 1438.[2]

After the liquidation of the Terebovlia Raion on 19 July 2020, the village became part of the Ternopil Raion.[3]

Religion

  • Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (1628, brick, between Sosniv and Rakovets, founded by Leon Sukhodolskyi, UGCC).[4]
