Polan District (Persian: بخش پلان) is in Chabahar County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, in the southeastern part of Iran. Its capital is the city of Polan.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 43,050 in 8,416 households, when it was a village.[4] The 2011 census counted 48,241 people in 11,239 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 33,004 inhabitants in 8,812 households,[2] by which time Talang Rural District had been separated from the district and become a part of Qasr-e Qand County.[6]

After the census, the status of the village of Polan was elevated to that of a city.[7]
