On October 6, 2023, at 5 a.m. local time, a bus carrying Haitian and Venezuelan migrants from Venezuela crashed in Oaxaca, Mexico, killing 16 and injuring 29 others who were hospitalized. Authorities launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.[1][2][3]
