Nowy Las [ˈnɔvɨ ˈlas] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Głuchołazy, within Nysa County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, close to the Czech border.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Głuchołazy, 14 km (9 mi) south-east of Nysa, and 50 km (31 mi) south-west of the regional capital Opole.

Before 1945, the village was called Neuwalde and was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
