Medininkai ('foresters, woodsmen', formerly Russian: Мѣдники, Polish: Miedniki)[1] is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 62 people.[2] It is located 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) from Dotnuva town, 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Meironiškiai, nearby the Smilga river, surrounded by the Josvainiai Forest and the Krakės-Dotnuva Forest. There is a former school.

At the beginning of the 20th century there were Medininkai village and estate.[1]
