Barkin Ladi (or Barakin Ladi , B/ladi) is a Local Government Area in Plateau State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Gwol at 9°32′00″N 8°54′00″E / 9.53333°N 8.90000°E / 9.53333; 8.90000.

It has an area of 1,032 km2 and a population of 175,267 at the 2006 census. Plateau state Polytechnic is Located in this town. The postal code of the area is 932.[1]

Climate/Geography
