Notoscopelus resplendens és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.

Morfologia

  • Els mascles poden assolir 9,5 cm de longitud total.
  • Nombre de vèrtebres: 35-38.[1][2]

Reproducció

És ovípar amb larves i ous planctònics.[3]

Depredadors

És depredat per Lagenodelphis hosei (a les Filipines), Stenella attenuata[4] i Stenella longirostris (Filipines).[5][6]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 0-2.121 m de fondària.[1][7]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a l'Atlàntic,[8][9][10] l'Índic, el Pacífic[11][12] i el Mar de la Xina Meridional.[13][7][1][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24]
