Isoperla mormona és una espècie d'insecte plecòpter pertanyent a la família dels perlòdids.[6]

Descripció

  • La larva mascle fa entre 7 i 9 mm de llargària corporal.[7]

Hàbitat

En el seu estadi immadur és aquàtic i viu a l'aigua dolça, mentre que com a adult és terrestre i volador (del maig a l'agost).[8][9]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a Nord-amèrica: el Canadà (la Colúmbia Britànica),[10] els Estats Units (Arizona, Califòrnia,[11][7] Colorado,[12][13][14] Idaho,[15] Montana,[9][16] Nou Mèxic,[17] Oregon,[18] Utah[19][20][21] i Washington) i Mèxic (la Baixa Califòrnia), incloent-hi el riu Colorado,[22] les muntanyes Rocoses,[23] la serralada de les Cascades, Sierra Nevada i les muntanyes de la Costa.[4][24][25][26][27][8][28][29][30][31][32]
